Hi! I’m Valerie. I created Peace of Mind Pet Care because I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone who will genuinely notice the little things.

Every pet has a different personality, routine and way of feeling safe. Whether they need walks, playtime, quiet companionship, extra patience or someone willing to learn their quirks, I want their care to feel familiar and personal.

I provide direct photo and text updates, communicate in English and Spanish, and take time during every meet and greet to understand both your pets and your home.

Do you provide boarding?

No. We do not board pets or bring them into our homes. Overnight house sitting takes place inside the client’s home, allowing pets to remain in their familiar environment and routine.

Is the free meet and greet required?

Yes. A free in-home meet and greet is required for every new client and every type of service. No service can be accepted until the meeting is complete and all required Welcome & Care Forms are signed.

How does the booking process work?

First, send us a request describing your pets, dates and needed service. We then complete the required free meet and greet and review the forms together. Afterward, you receive a personalized online quote. Your booking is confirmed only after the quote is accepted and payment is completed.

How is my final price determined?

Starting rates are provided as a guide. Your final quote may depend on the number and type of pets, service length, routines, level of care, holidays and travel distance. Additional pets receive progressively discounted companion pricing.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud and surrounding areas. Locations farther from the normal service area may include a travel fee, which will always be discussed before booking.

What pets do you care for?

We welcome dogs, cats and other household pets when their needs fall within our experience and available services. Every animal, routine and safety requirement is discussed during the meet and greet.

Will I receive updates?

Yes. Clients receive photo and text-message updates directly on their phone. The frequency and timing can be discussed during the meet and greet based on the service and your preferences.

What must I provide for overnight house sitting?

Clients must provide a safe and clean sleeping space, reasonable access to a working bathroom and kitchen, drinking water, working utilities, home-entry instructions, pet supplies, veterinary information and emergency contacts. House rules and special conditions should be discussed openly during the meet and greet.

What happens if my pet has an emergency?

Emergency contacts, veterinary information and treatment authorization must be included in the signed forms. We will attempt to contact you and follow the agreed emergency plan while prioritizing the immediate safety of your pet.
